By 2009, Euroaptitudini completed four training projects financed by Phare pre-accession funds. 1. "ICT training courses at European standards in the Romanian prison system" project
Implementation period: October 1st, 2010 – September 30, 2013

Project description: The project aimed to increase the opportunities for social inclusion and to facilitate the integration / reintegration into employment of persons serving a custodial sentence.
"ICT training courses at European standards in the Romanian prison system" was focused on providing ICT training courses (ECDL START / COMPLETE / EqualSkills) for 2,007 persons serving custodial sentences of imprisonment and for 1,602 employees of the prison system. The main objective was to improve the prison system by developing the skills of the human resources working for the prison system as well as the approach adopted in working with or for persons serving a custodial sentence. Another aim of the project was to create a nationwide network of 100 “ICT training multipliers” in order to improve the prison system.
2. "Developing ICT and medical informatics skills to increase the adaptability of hospital nurses in Romania" project
Implementation period: September 1st, 2010 – August 31, 2013

Project description: The project aimed to improve the mobility and the adaptability to changing health care systems of health personnel in hospitals in Romania by developing their competencies and skills in the field of ICT and of the new technologies. The main objective of the project was to develop the basic knowledge of computer operations by training 4000 nurses from 400 hospitals in Romania within ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) certification program. The project also aimed to provide the proper knowledge and skills in order to increase nurses’ adaptability to the new tasks and demands in all fields of their work: clinical practice, hospital information management, education, information and communication.
3. “Counseling and vocational training programs at European standards for entrepreneurs and managers" project
Implementation period: October 1st, 2010 – March 31, 2013
Partners: Businessmen Association in Romania (AOAR) (applicant), Euroaptitudini SA, WIFI RO SA, Institute for Economic Promotion of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber – WIFI Austria (partners)
Project description: The project aimed to promote entrepreneurial culture and to increase the entrepreneurial and managerial skills (by providing nationally, internationally and / or authorized ANC – National Adult Training Board programs) for 100 entrepreneurs and managers, in particular micro and SMEs from at least three regions. The project also aimed to advise the targeted entrepreneurs and managers of the 8 development regions in stake to make effective use of existing market opportunities and to increase their business competitiveness.
4. "Learn how to be competitive! Train yourself and invest NOW in your future! " project
Implementation period: January 3rd, 2011 – December 31, 2011
Partners: Euroaptitudini S.A. (beneficiary), Businessmen Association in Romania (AOAR) (partner)
Project Description: The project aimed to provide specific training and to develop employees’ skills in the areas of soft skills & leadership / project management / business management / sales / IT / English. All training courses were nationally recognized by ANC – National Adult Training Board certification, internationally recognized by the ECDL Start / Complete / Advanced certification and BULATS certification. The main objective of the project was to increase the adaptability, productivity and quality of work for the targeted employees. The project contributed to the development of entrepreneurial culture in the target group and to the development of new skills nationally / internationally recognized, according to labor market needs.

"The IT & S program (ICT and Teaching Strategy), an integrated and innovative training program for the teaching personnel in Bucharest-Ilfov and South-Muntenia regions" project
Partners: School Inspectorate of Bucharest (applicant), Euroaptitudini SA (partner) and others
Project description: The project aims to increase the access and the participation of middle school teachers from Bucharest-Ilfov and South-Muntenia regions to the opportunities for initial and continuing vocational training by developing their ability to use interactive methods in teaching and learning and ICT. This innovative multiregional training program based on educational priority areas and the use of digital resources helps to ensure a quality education system. "The IT & S program (ICT and Teaching Strategy), an integrated and innovative training program for the teaching personnel in Bucharest-Ilfov and South-Muntenia regions" project" is focused on developing ICT skills, designing and implementing a skill based curricula, the improving the classroom management and crisis management skills, developing interactive teaching and learning methods, all nationally recognized (by CNFPA – National Adult Training Board certification) and internationally recognized (through ECDL – European Computer Driving License certification) for 6000 teachers in Bucharest-Ilfov and South-Muntenia regions.
